Put simply, Joachim Kiesler has crafted an incredibly living-room-friendly passive speaker. Its sound quality rivals that of professional active monitors. This is a grounded, purposeful loudspeaker that faithfully delivers music as intended. The ME 150 is a passive three-way coaxial floorstanding speaker. Two 6.5-inch cone drivers handle low and mid frequencies with convincing linearity thanks to their superior transducer performance. Both low-mid systems are housed in a ported enclosure with downward-firing ports, simplifying placement and enhancing bass reproduction in your listening room. A 1-inch dome tweeter sits coaxially above the low-mid drivers for high-frequency output. The unique radiation pattern combined with the coaxial alignment ensures consistent, natural imaging across a reference width of 2 to 3.5 meters. When paired with a suitable AV receiver, the ME1 50 floorstanding speakers can also be complemented by subwoofers from our BASIS series. The ME 150 embodies a design philosophy centered on balanced, low-distortion imaging and high dynamic performance.
