The ME 901K1 is a compact, three-way coaxial loudspeaker with cardioid low-frequency dispersion. "Great achievements often stem from small details." The ME 901K1 was designed for music enthusiasts to deliver the legendary sound of the RL 901K in an as-small-as-possible enclosure. To minimize cabinet size, the amplifier module is housed separately. Our proven K technology is also featured in the ME 901K1, providing cardioid dispersion between 30 and 250 Hz to significantly reduce reflections from the rear wall of the listening room. Additionally, an integrated room-matching filter allows the frequency response to adapt to the acoustic conditions and placement of the playback environment. The mid/high driver is mounted coaxially with our 16-inch long-excursion low-frequency system, offering complementary directivity characteristics. The overall directivity of this monitor speaker has been optimized for medium to large listening distances ranging from 2 to 4 meters, ensuring precise imaging throughout. A series of structural measures have been implemented to achieve exceptionally low levels of nonlinear distortion and coloration. As an active three-way coaxial loudspeaker, the ME 901K1 shares the same sonic philosophy as the RL series, delivering exceptional compatibility and convincing spatial presentation. An elegant dedicated stand is available as an optional accessory for the ME 901K1.
