The ME 901K is a compact, active three-way coaxial loudspeaker with cardioid directivity from 30 Hz to 250 Hz. It serves as an ideal main monitor for audio and video studios and is also well-suited for Hi-Fi enthusiasts. The low-frequency section of the ME 901K features cardioid radiation, minimizing reflections from the rear wall of the listening room. Two adjustable frequency bands allow infinite variation in low-frequency response, enabling precise matching to the acoustic conditions and placement of the playback environment. The mid-high driver is integrated coaxially with a long-throw low-frequency system, offering a complementary directivity pattern. The overall directivity index is optimized for extended listening distances, delivering excellent stereo imaging. Despite its compact enclosure, the high-power long-throw low-frequency system ensures superior transient response. Through advanced structural design, we have achieved minimal nonlinear distortion and coloration. A three-channel MOSFET amplifier module with electronic crossovers is mounted on the rear panel and can be flipped outward for easy maintenance. An LED indicator flashes intermittently when the overload limit is reached. If the maximum level is exceeded, the output is automatically reduced by 20 dB to protect components.
